06.2013: 2013 Season Ends

The Wylie Pirates concluded their 2013 baseball season. Wylie freshman, Andrew Spencer, was named to the 2013 All-District first-team as the designated hitter. Sophomore, Darius Carter was named the second-team utility player for 2013. Seniors, Joseph Ewing (outfielder), Andrew Garza (pitcher), and Isaac Shears (pitcher) were named honorable mention.

06.2013: Player of the Year

The 2013 Wylie Defensive Player of the Year honors were awarded to Joseph Ewing. The Award for Wylie Offensive Player of the Year went to Andrew Spencer. Darius Carter was presented the AHMO award for outstanding character and sportsmanship. Special thanks to senior Pirates John Copley, Joseph Ewing, Andrew Garza and Isaac Shears for their leadership.
